The Credit Analyst II or Senior provides full service to Commercial Loan Officers statewide, through analyzing basic commercial loan requests, identifying strengths and weaknesses, providing recommendations, and noting any deviations from the Commercial Loan Policy as appropriate. Also provides loan monitoring services to the Lending Staff.
The Credit Analyst provides full support to the Commercial Lending Officers and is primarily responsible for underwriting financial transactions involving working capital, equipment, real estate and small company acquisitions. In addition, the credit analyst ensures that proper credit/collateral documentation is obtained, identifies any deviations to loan policy, participates in loan closings and assists in the ongoing monitoring of credits.
The Loan Review Analyst II performs regular loan portfolio reviews based on risk and size of credit types. Ensures the creditworthiness of the loan portfolio by reviewing the quality, completeness and accuracy of supporting loan documentation and analysis. In addition, the Loan Review Analyst reviews loan policy for adequacy, assesses problem loan management /workout plan effectiveness and provides assistance and consultation to loan officers and other lending personnel. Prepares detailed executive summaries of each review with supporting analysis. The incumbent will also seek out continuous improvement to related bank processes.
The Credit Analyst – Banker Development Program will have a start date in June 2020 and will participate in our Banker Development Program, which is designed for individuals who wish to pursue a career as a Commercial Banker (Lender). As a Credit Analyst in our Banker Development Program, you will receive training and work as a Credit Analyst, where you will provide full support to the Commercial Bankers in your respective market by underwriting a variety of financial transactions involving working capital, equipment, real estate and small company acquisitions. You will also receive additional career development in areas across the bank that are focused on preparing you to become a Commercial Banker (Lender). Those who successfully complete the Banker Development Program will typically move into a lending role within two to three years.
